Idhayam Rajendran School is a co-educational institution affiliated to the CISCE Council,New Delhi.It is meticulously managed by the “Maduraiyil Virudhunagar Hindu Nadar Uravinmurai”. The motto of the School is “Mind and Body Temple”.

The school was opened on June 1999 with the lower classes, and subsequently the school has graduated to plus two.

The curriculum endeavours to integrate the acquisition of knowledge and career skills in the student community. The teaching-learning systems have been further strengthened by nurturing a creative environment so as to inspire out-of-the-box thinking and innovative solutions. The learning process has been made more student-friendly through modern teaching aids and ICT facilities, and accentuated with the students’ participation in project work and e-learning. Moreover, in keeping with its aim of imparting a well-rounded education, the School also plays an active role in creating an awareness of our multidimensional heritage and culture.

All the students are expected to serve the community by enrolling themselves in the Physical Education programme,Yoga,Swimming,Skating,Karate. The cultural programmes of the Fine Arts Club provide an opportunity for the students to hone their skills in the performing arts. The Language Lab focuses on personality development and ensure that all the students receive soft skills training. The Green Club,Chroniclers Club, Interact Club,Circadian Club, Cultural Club,English club are the various clubs functioning to ensure the all-round development of our students.
