Idhayam Clubs 


Green Club

    • The Green Club members make continuous efforts to maintain cleanliness on the school premises. Various steps are taken to reduce the wastage of electricity by creating awareness among students about the importance of saving energy. Attention is also given to avoiding the wastage of snacks provided to students.
    • Cleanliness is carefully maintained during all school celebrations and events. During Diwali celebrations, students are encouraged to follow safety rules while bursting crackers under the guidance of teachers. After every celebration, the playground and school surroundings are monitored and cleaned properly by the club members.
    • To promote healthy food habits and environmental awareness, vegetables such as pumpkin, lady’s finger, tomato, and spinach are grown on the school campus and used in the school mess.
    • To encourage active participation and responsibility among students, a Green Club Trophy is awarded every month to the class that scores the highest points in maintaining cleanliness and eco-friendly practices.

Cultural Club

    • The main objective of a cultural club is to impart knowledge through celebrating the festivals.
    • The cultural club organizes various celebrations, like Diwali, Pongal, Ramzan, Bakrid, Christmas, Vinayagar Charthurthi, Saraswathi Pooja and National Festivals like Independence Day and Republic Day.
    • The cultural club involves all the students in various cultural activities and building their hidden talents.
    • Through cultural activities, we help students to get rid of their stage fear and build their confidence.
    • The school is a place where children from different cultures and religions come together under one roof.
    • The cultural club helps the students to think, We are Indians.

Chroniclers Club

    • This club, as their name suggests, will chronicle every event in the school, supported by write-ups, photographs etc. 
    • Eventually, these club members will form the school magazine’s editorial board.
    • They select the best writings, drawings etc., from the competitions held by the cultural club to be published in the school magazine.
    •  They also designed their own competitions for this purpose.
    • They also collected articles from students to bring out the creativity of students.

Circadian Club

    • This club envisions bringing perfection to all the activities of the campus.
    • Its main objective is regulating various activities, like conducting school assemblies, checking proper uniform and maintaining a notice board.
    • The various activities that are conducted at the assembly are: Thought for the day, English and Tamil news, Thirukkural, Gk Questions, Identify the personality or poetic device, riddles, beehive communication club activities, brushing up your vocabulary, science experiments.
    • They also keep updating the students about celebrations and important days by displaying pictures and notices on the notice board.
    • This club, like the biological clock within us, continues to tick throughout the school working hours.
    • The quantity of time spent in the school is converted to quality time by these club members.


Englistics Club

    • The main objective of the Englistics club is being a facilitator to students to improve their ability to master English skills, especially speaking skills. Students from every class were appointed as members of the Englistics club to help students draw up their abilities. Our club gave opportunities to the students by encouraging them to participate in different events like Debate, Declamation, Creative writing, Quiz, Role Play, Taboo and so on to amplify their LSRW skills.
    • In these tough times, it is imperative to provide new and innovative opportunities to keep the thrill and thro alive in the students and keep them engaged in productive learning. Thus, the Englistics club provides an ingenious and expressive activity for the students to brush up on their inventive skills and artistic flair.
    • As a result, the students are not only improving their English, but also the events have boosted their confidence, have taught them organizational skills and, most importantly, work together as a team. 


Quiz Club

    • Liberty cannot be preserved without general knowledge among the people.
    • General knowledge plays an important role in a child’s life along with academic activities.
    • To enrich our students' knowledge, a quiz club has been functioning in our school with a team of teachers.
    • To sharpen and feed the curiosity of young minds, quiz time is conducted once in a term.
    • Attending a quiz competition is not as easy as others. One should be capable of kindling your mind to answer tricky questions. 
    • To make them more prepared, we do conduct a monthly Quiz mini-champ for both primary and secondary students at the end of the month. 
    •  We not only give practice but also ensure that all are utilizing their reading schedule fruitfully. 
    • We always make sure that students are developing their skills by asking questions during the quiz season.



Readers Club

    • To manifest the above quote, Reader's Club was launched in June 2023, with the motto, "Supporting and promoting the habit of reading among the pupils". 
    • The main objective of the club is to develop the habit of reading and providing a platform to express thoughts about books.
    • The club has taken steps to appreciate the readers of our students and teachers by rewarding them with awards such as Bookstagram, Voracious and Star Reader.
    • The club organizes Dear Book Events and Author's Birthday Celebrations. 



Interact Club

    • This is the club installed in every school by the Rotary Club to include the habits of serving habit people altruistically. This club makes the students interact with each other and keeps them aware of current happenings and social events. The club also assists other clubs in some events.
    •  The motto of the club is ‘Service Above Self’. We have celebrated some important things worldwide. They include World Organ Donation Day, World Humanitarian Day, International Day against Nuclear Weapons, Navy Day, International Day against Corruption. We delivered speeches, conducted awareness programmes, competitions among students of all grades, and we also had moral-based fun activities for students from grade 3 to 7.
    • On the occasion of World Charity Day, we exclusively gathered daily usable things like groceries, toiletries, spreads, blankets, etc. from the students of grade IX to XII and from our teachers. We donated it to the destitute visually impaired people in Agavizhi hostel.  Our club engaged in such deeds for the people and indulged in service to the people.
